The Bansuri Project began as a pandemic experiment — a classical flautist and a producer, isolated in two cities, mailing stems back and forth. What emerged was a sound nobody had quite heard before: ragas folded into ambient electronica, devotional melodies stretched across cinematic landscapes.
Their releases have been licensed for documentaries, meditation apps, and a Netflix series.
Live, they perform with a string section, tabla, and a single laptop. The room always goes completely silent.
